Former boxing heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali is in hospital for a respiratory problem.
The 74-year-old, who has suffered with Parkinson’s disease for a number of years, is said to be in a fair condition.
The spokesman for the boxing legend, Bob Gunneil, in a statement said Ali was being treated as a precaution and a brief stay was expected.
Ali has suffered some health problems in recent years. He was admitted to an hospital in December 2014 for a mild case of pneumonia.
But doctors confirmed then he was suffering from a severe urinary traction, for which he received further treatment in hospital in January 2015.

In recent years, he has kept a low profile, his last public appearance was in April at the celebrity fight night gala in Arizona. A charity that benefits the Mohammad Ali Parkinson Center.
Nicknamed, the greatest, he retired from boxing in 1981.
